The professional basketball team Gunma Crane Thunders, USEN (a member of the USEN & U-NEXT GROUP), and Spocale conducted a field trial for their 'Basket Town' concept from March 11 to May 11. Centered around the Open House Arena Ota, the initiative aimed to revitalize the city by collaborating with local restaurants to create a new basketball viewing experience.

The trial focused on building and verifying a sustainable circulation model that brings value to three parties: fans, local businesses, and the team. The matches were streamed at 10 restaurants near the arena using 'USEN MUSIC Entertainment'.

[Value for Fans] A high level of satisfaction was recorded, with over 80% of customers expressing satisfaction. The 'in-town watching' style was accepted as a new form of daily entertainment.

[Value for Businesses] The trial confirmed successful acquisition of new customers and intent for continued patronage. It successfully attracted new demographics not typical of these establishments, showing potential for medium- to long-term business revitalization.

[Value for the Team] The initiative created touchpoints with the team outside the arena, promoting acquisition of new fans and increasing the enthusiasm of existing supporters.
