G-Place Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagaokakyo City, Kyoto Prefecture, President: Hidetoshi Ayabe, hereinafter referred to as "our company"), the importer and domestic sales distributor of the permanent fall prevention system "Acrobat," will exhibit at the 13th Occupational Safety and Health Exhibition held from July 15 (Wed) to July 17 (Thu), 2026.

For those who want to know what safety measures are necessary and what methods are available for high-altitude work such as on rooftops, roofs, ladders, and truck loading/unloading operations, experts in high-altitude safety measures will provide guidance.

At our booth, we will showcase all major types of "Acrobat," a safety measure system that solves the critical problem of "lack of anchor points" in high-altitude safety measures, which has been adopted by many major companies and government agencies. You will be able to see and feel the actual usability and installation image.

Furthermore, we will unveil for the first time at this exhibition, "Verpost Anchor," a permanent fall prevention system anchor point exclusively for reinforced concrete flat roofs, jointly developed by our company and "Vertech," a specialist in rooftop waterproofing construction/installation.

In addition, this exhibition will also feature various industrial materials handled by our company (shrink wrap sheets / moss boards / Pla-Bo-kun / WCP) alongside our high-altitude safety products.

"Verpost Anchor," unveiled for the first time at this exhibition

Exhibition Highlight: "Verpost Anchor" Enabling Installation on Reinforced Concrete Flat Roofs

The biggest highlight of this exhibition is the actual product display of "Verpost Anchor (Verpost Anchor)," a new product that enables the installation of anchor points on reinforced concrete flat roofs.

For flat roofs, which have been difficult to install on from a waterproofing perspective, this product has been realized through joint development by "Acrobat," a specialist in high-altitude safety measures, and "Vertech," a specialist in waterproofing construction, with a reliable waterproofing guarantee.

Enlarged view of "Verpost Anchor"

Three Features of "Verpost Anchor"

1. High-altitude safety measures that do not compromise the functionality of the horizontal wire type

It supports the "pass-through structure," the most distinctive feature of the horizontal wire type. The intermediate anchor supporting the wire can be smoothly moved without re-hooking.

2. Reliable "Installation System" and "Waterproofing Guarantee" by Specialists Knowledgeable in Fall Prevention and Waterproofing

The installation of the fall prevention system by "Acrobat" and the foundation installation and waterproofing work of Verpost Anchor by "Vertech" are coordinated to provide high-altitude safety measures with a reliable waterproofing system.

If our company conducts an inspection and the condition and type of the existing waterproofing layer, as well as the remaining warranty period, meet the specifications, a comprehensive waterproofing warranty of up to 5 years will be provided, with coverage up to 30 million yen per accident. Partial waterproofing during installation will be provided with appropriate methods and pricing, and the warranty will be managed through an insurance contract with a non-life insurance company, ensuring a secure and practical service operation.

3. Strength design considering safety, compliant with European standards (EN795)

In the event of a fall, an impact load of 4-6kN* will be applied to the Verpost Anchor. The Verpost Anchor has undergone a "tensile strength test" of over 12kN in accordance with European standards (EN795), and its strength is designed to withstand the load in case of a fall.

*kN (read as kilonewton / 1kN = approx. 100kg) is an international unit representing force or weight (load), used to indicate load capacity and strength in building and civil engineering works.

Exhibition Content: See, Touch, and Experience! Actual Installation of Major "Acrobat" Types

This time, we will exhibit major types from the Acrobat lineup. Featuring the horizontal wire type, which has gained strong support and is installed on the factory roofs of major manufacturers and by major railway companies in the Tokyo metropolitan area, as well as the vertical wire type with the most installation locations in the series, and the suspended wire type, which is also used in the maintenance of aircraft and large vehicles, our booth will make it easy to visualize actual safety assurance.

We will also exhibit "AK Davits (read: AK Davits / suspended type support weight fixing type)," which is frequently inquired about. AK Davits are suitable for use on truck beds and other outdoor loading operations. While there are multiple fixing methods, the weight-fixing type on display can be moved and used with a forklift (2 tons or more).

Image is from the 2025 Tokyo Occupational Safety and Health Exhibition.

At the booth, we will recreate a state where the horizontal wire type is installed on a life-sized model simulating the top of a standing seam roof, and demonstrate the pass-through function (details below), which was highly acclaimed at the exhibition. You can also see details that are difficult to understand from catalogs and brochures, such as the slider of the vertical wire type that smoothly follows the worker during ladder ascent and descent, and the overhang glider of the suspended wire type that moves lightly overhead. Photography and video recording are also permitted within the booth. We aim to create a booth where visitors can visualize the necessity of high-altitude safety measures and concrete solutions while seeing, touching, and experiencing them.

What is the Permanent Fall Prevention System "Acrobat"?

"Acrobat" is a "permanent wire or rail type lifeline" installed on buildings etc. for tasks that require regular access to high places for inspection, maintenance, cargo handling, etc. It is a "restraint system*" that prevents approach to dangerous areas and falls.

The manufacturer is based in Singapore, and the products comply with EN standards (European standards) and boast over 1,000 installation cases worldwide, primarily in Asia, including Japan.

In Japan, G-Place Co., Ltd. began sales as the sole importer and distributor in 2020. Inheriting the manufacturer's mission to "protect the lives of all workers from falling accidents," our company aims to "eliminate accidents during high-altitude work!" as its slogan and strives to promote the product for the creation of a safe and secure working environment.

Currently, against the backdrop of the mandatory use of full harnesses, we are receiving many inquiries from sites where "workers have started using full harnesses but are struggling with the lack of anchor points for their hooks." The product is supported for its high workability in addition to its safety.

5 Features of Acrobat Products

1. "Pass-through Structure" that does not reduce work efficiency

In ensuring safety during high-altitude work, it is also strongly required not to reduce work efficiency. All Acrobat lineups feature a "pass-through structure*" that eliminates the need for re-hooking, reducing work burden while ensuring safety at heights.

*Pass-through structure: With lifelines typically used for temporary work, it is necessary to temporarily detach and re-attach the hook (double-hooking) when passing through the connection point of the lifeline to the building, as the hook can catch on the support anchor. Acrobat products feature a pass-through structure that allows passage through connection and support points with the building without re-hooking.

2. Adaptable to various buildings and situations based on extensive track record

With a rich product lineup, it can be installed in various high-altitude work sites. Our company's specialized technicians, who are experts in high-altitude safety measures, provide individual designs based on factors such as the expected work content, number of workers, building shape/material, and whether it is rented or owned.

3. High Safety - Compliant with European EN Standards -

Currently, there are no established standards for permanent fall prevention systems in Japan. However, globally, the necessity of permanent fall prevention systems is recognized, and standards such as US ANSI standards and European EN standards have been created to guarantee their safety. Acrobat products comply with European standards (EN standards).

4. Design that harmonizes with buildings and environments

Recognized for its high design quality as well as functionality, it has been adopted in many landmark buildings worldwide, including Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, Dubai International Airport, and Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

5. Regular inspection service ensuring safety even after installation

After installation, annual regular inspections (paid) are performed to ensure long-term safety and security.

Mandatory Use of Full Harness Type Fall Arresters Fully Operational Since 2022

In Japan, nearly 200 people lose their lives each year due to falls from high places during work, and the number exceeds 20,000 when including injuries*. Previously, safety belts of the body belt type were mainly used, but their safety is now being re-evaluated. Amendments to the Order for Enforcement of the Industrial Safety and Health Act and the Industrial Safety and Health Regulations have made the wearing of full harness type fall arresters mandatory from February 1, 2019.

As a result, the wearing of full harness type fall arresters, which is standard in Europe and America, has become mandatory in Japan at certain heights (6.75m or higher / recommended at 5m or higher in the construction industry). Furthermore, from January 2, 2022, the sale and instruction to use old standard products became subject to penalties, marking a complete transition to the mandatory use of new standard full harnesses.

With this mandatory use of full harnesses, consultations from many customers such as "I'm wearing a full harness, but there's no place to hook my lanyard!" have rapidly increased, highlighting the delay in high-altitude safety measures on the building equipment side.
