Asahi Gakken ThinQuest, a group company of Gakken Holdings, along with the Asahi Student Newspaper Company and The Asahi Shimbun Publications, will co-host an experiential event titled 'Asobi Manabi Kagaku Lab' on July 19 (Sun) at the Tokyo University of Science, Katsushika Campus. The event is designed to support elementary school students with their summer research projects.

The event features a variety of programs for parents and children, including experimental booths, workshops, stage shows, and hands-on exhibits. It aims to help children discover 'seeds of research' while having fun.

This is the first joint event organized by these three media companies, which have previously operated independently through web, magazine, and newspaper platforms. With a diverse range of programs transcending corporate boundaries, it stands as one of the largest educational events in Japan.

A total of 14 companies and organizations, including Ezaki Glico, the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Seiko Group, Seven Bank, the Expanded Polystyrene Association, and Morinaga & Co., will exhibit at the venue. Content includes workshops on making original clocks and learning financial management by running a virtual burger shop.

The stage program will feature a special class by Sakana-kun and a live advice session by Yoshi-o Kojima. Additionally, there will be prize draws, book sales, and special food menus at the cafeteria and food trucks.
