DetonatioN, a subsidiary of GameWith, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takuya Imaizumi; hereinafter "GameWith"), announces that its professional esports team "DetonatioN FocusMe" (hereinafter "DFM"), operated by DetonatioN, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Nobuyuki Umezaki; hereinafter "DetonatioN"), will have fighting game player GO1 and Fortnite player Rainy compete in the "Esports World Cup 2026" (hereinafter "EWC 2026").

EWC 2026 will kick off on July 6 (Mon), and over the course of seven weeks, top players from each title will compete using their world-class skills to prove their abilities.

GO1 achieved remarkable results last year, winning the "Garou: Mark of the Wolves" division (hereinafter "Garou Division") at the previous EWC and placing tied for 5th in the "Street Fighter 6" division. He single-handedly secured DFM's 14th place in the Club Championship rankings, the only Japanese team to do so. This year, as the defending champion in the Garou Division, he will aim for a second consecutive victory.

This marks Rainy's second appearance in a world tournament, following the official global competition "FNCS Major 1 Summit" held in May. Rainy aims for their first podium finish on the world stage.

Both players are burning with fighting spirit, not only for the pride of being professional athletes but also to win the exceptional prize money of 1 million USD (approximately 160 million JPY), aiming for the top of the world.

We kindly ask for your passionate support for both players.
