Life Saved Through Employee Collaboration

Richland Ageo Store, operated by Garden Group (Yuraku Co., Ltd., Saitama City, Urawa Ward, Saitama Prefecture), has been honored by the Ageo Fire Department.

In November 2025, a customer collapsed in cardiac arrest at the Richland Ageo Store. On-site employees immediately collaborated, promptly initiating emergency calls and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and ensuring a swift and accurate handover to the arriving ambulance crew. Through approximately eight minutes of dedicated life-saving efforts, the customer regained consciousness at the scene before being transferred to the paramedics.

The customer's life was saved thanks to the calm and decisive actions of the staff, who applied knowledge gained from the company's AED training.

Awarded for Life-Saving Efforts

On May 26th, Ms. Nozomi Oshikata, representing the employees who responded to this emergency, was presented with a letter of appreciation by Mr. Yasuo Suzuki, Fire Chief of the Ageo Fire Department.

We express our deepest respect for this."
