GG.SUPPLY Inc. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Representative Director: Hitoshi Uesugi) is pleased to announce that it has concluded the "Agreement on the Supply of Goods in Times of Disaster" with Fukuoka City.
This agreement aims to contribute to the health maintenance and nutritional security of disaster victims by supplying fresh vegetables produced by our company to evacuation centers and other facilities upon request from Fukuoka City in the event of a disaster.
Background of the Agreement
In recent years, with the increasing severity and frequency of natural disasters, there has been a growing need to strengthen the food supply system during emergencies. Ensuring not only the availability of food but also a balanced diet for maintaining health becomes a critical issue, especially when evacuation periods are prolonged.
GG.SUPPLY Inc. produces and provides fresh vegetables in close proximity to the local community in Fukuoka City, under the concept of "Urban Farms."
By bringing food production closer to urban areas, we aim to deliver fresh and safe vegetables during normal times and to function as a food supply base supporting the community during disasters.

Comment from Hitoshi Uesugi, Representative Director
I once heard from someone who experienced the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake that "being able to eat fresh raw vegetables during a disaster helped restore a sense of mental calm."
As "Urban Farms," we stably produce and supply fresh vegetables throughout the year. We are honored that our system has been recognized, leading to this agreement with Fukuoka City.
We hope to be of service to the citizens, not only by supporting their daily food security but also by contributing in some small way in the event of an unforeseen disaster.
