glafit Inc. has signed a partnership agreement with Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, to demonstrate the use of next-generation mobility for sustainable Satoyama (rural landscape) regeneration. This agreement aims to create an environment where diverse groups, including the younger generation, can continuously participate in conservation and regeneration activities. Participation is essential for promoting biodiversity and a nature-coexisting society. However, one challenge is accessibility, as rural areas often have steep slopes and require private vehicles. Therefore, glafit, which develops and sells small electric scooters, will collaborate with Kobe City to verify how next-generation mobility can improve access. The 'NFR-01 Pro⁺' used in this demonstration combines the maneuverability of a bicycle with climbing performance capable of handling 30% steep slopes, making it an eco-friendly electric vehicle.
