Under the theme "Enmo Take Nawa" (meaning "the connection is strong"), this event will deliver a unique summer festival at ESTINATE HOTEL Naha, allowing guests to enjoy connections with people while experiencing Okinawa's diverse culture through music, art, and food.

The event will feature a variety of content, including the hotel's original food and stalls from popular local restaurants, as well as sanshin performances and a Bingata traditional craft workshop, offering a taste of Okinawan culture. It's an event for everyone, from children to adults.

Live performance by Airi Ishimine, a recipient of numerous awards for classical and Ryukyuan folk music. Her sanshin melodies will color the Okinawan festival experience.

Airi Ishimine

Began playing sanshin after entering the Ryukyu Folk Culture Course at Haebaru High School.

Has received numerous awards and gained extensive experience in classical and Ryukyuan folk music.

Has appeared on numerous TV programs, including singing for Okinawan local commercials, Karaoke Battle, Ongaku Champ, and Monitoring.

Currently performs as an exclusive artist at "Shimauta Live Izakaya Yui Ka" on Kokusai Dori in Naha City, Okinawa, performing at live events and festivals both within and outside the prefecture, as well as overseas.

Custom Art & Merchandise Sales by Okinawa-born Artist Danson

Danson is responsible for creating the event's key visual. On the day of the event, in addition to selling original T-shirts featuring the key visual design, we will offer custom art sales where individual images are brought to life based on customer consultations, as well as merchandise from the art gallery "HONNNO PARK."

Danson

Illustrator and picture book author born on Iriomote Island, Okinawa, in 1986.

Draws pictures with a unique, unconventional sensibility, adhering to the motto "Rakugaki" (freehand drawing).

After graduating from university, worked at an advertising agency while engaging in a wide range of activities, including visual design for artists and art direction for Okinawa Prefecture's tourism projects. In 2014, published his first original picture book, "LIFE OF MR.DONK," followed by "Agorita Ojisan no Shiawase no Tane" in 2017.

In recent years, has undertaken commission work with companies, focusing on creating wall art for stores such as Blue Seal Ice Cream Chatan Store, hug3do, and Mega Don Quijote. Opened the gallery HONNO PARK in Oroku, Naha City, in January 2024,

and is currently holding special exhibitions in collaboration with artists from Okinawa and beyond.

"Bingata" Traditional Okinawan Craft Workshop

Featuring Bingata artist Ayaka Isagawa, we will hold a workshop where participants of all ages can easily experience Bingata. You can enjoy creating original drawstring bags, including a limited-edition taco pattern for this event.

Ayaka Isagawa

Born in Okinawa Prefecture in 1999.

Graduated from the Dyeing and Weaving Design Department at Shuri High School and completed the Advanced Crafts Technology Training at the Okinawa Prefectural Industrial Technology Research Center.

Has been active as a Bingata artist both within and outside Okinawa Prefecture since 2019. She collaborates with companies, holds workshops in municipalities and schools, and disseminates the charm of Okinawa's traditional culture and Bingata through social media. With the slogan "Bingata is Fun!," she delivers creative experiences that are accessible to everyone from young children to adults.
