Canon will sequentially launch seven new models in the 'imageFORCE (Image Force)' series and one model in the 'Satera (Satera)' series as new office multifunction printers, starting late July 2026. Simultaneously, Canon will begin offering a high-performance printer driver (※1) free of charge, enabling users to confirm detailed output previews and adjust print settings directly on their PC screens.

Canon is expanding its 'imageFORCE' series—launched in 2024 as a new line of multifunction devices combining high productivity with rich expression—by adding seven new office-oriented models. These new models are compact A3 color and monochrome mid-to-low-speed multifunction devices designed for easy integration into diverse office environments. With this expansion, Canon completes the core lineup for office use. At the same time, Canon is launching a new printer driver (PC software) for the 'imageFORCE' series. As demand grows for in-house printing of high-quality documents such as sales proposals and brochures, a common challenge has been unclear print settings leading to unintended output. To address this, the new driver enhances the preview function, allowing users to visualize final output accurately before printing. With a broad product lineup and software that improves the printing experience, the 'imageFORCE' series supports increasingly diverse workstyles.

Compact Multifunction Devices for Diverse Office Environments: 'imageFORCE C3100F' (※2) and '4100F' Series (※3)

The eight new models in the 'imageFORCE' and 'Satera' series are mid-to-low-speed devices that combine a compact body with functionality equivalent to higher-end models. All models feature Canon’s proprietary 'D² Exposure (D-Squared Exposure)' technology, which uses LED multi-chip light sources for precise exposure. This enables high-quality output not only for standard office documents but also for complex materials such as sales proposals and technical drawings in architecture and manufacturing. For security, the devices use a machine learning AI (※4) powered environment estimation engine to automatically recommend optimal 'Recommended Security Settings' based on the usage environment. Additionally, Canon has incorporated environmental considerations by using over 30% recycled resin and over 5% recycled iron (※5) in the main body materials.

Enhanced Preview Function in the High-Performance Printer Driver for a Reliable and Comfortable Printing Experience

With Canon’s previous printer drivers, users often struggled to visualize the final output on screen. Issues included missing punch margins due to inadequate blank space, or incorrect backside orientation in duplex stapling. The new printer driver enhances the preview function (Quick Editor), allowing users to check and adjust fine details such as duplex printing, booklet layout, staple positions, and punch locations directly on the PC preview screen. Settings are displayed in real-time as actual output previews, enabling per-page confirmation and adjustment. This reduces printing errors and enables more efficient production of high-quality documents.
