With this launch, passengers using the Shenzhen Metro no longer need to purchase physical tickets in advance. Simply tap your JCB contactless-enabled card or smartphone at automated gates to ride.

Available Metro Systems

Now that JCB contactless payments are available on the Shenzhen Metro, travelers can use their JCB cards seamlessly across metro systems in China’s four major cities—Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen—without the hassle of purchasing tickets or topping up balances. Service also extends to airport access lines in each city, making it convenient for tourists.
