Global Brain Invests in Pan for You Co., Ltd., Working on Bakery DX with Unique Freezing Technology and Generative AI Solutions

Global Brain Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Global Brain"), through the "Shinhan-GB Future Flow Investment Business Limited Partnership" (hereinafter referred to as "SHGB") jointly operated with Shinhan Venture Investment Co.,Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shinhan Venture Investment"), is pleased to announce that it has invested in Pan for You Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture / hereinafter referred to as "Pan for You"), which is working on Bakery DX with its unique freezing technology and generative AI solutions.

Pan for You operates a platform business that sources a variety of specialty breads from carefully selected local bakeries and distributes them nationwide using its unique freezing technology. With over 400 types of products (as of the end of March 2026) from over 200 partner bakeries, they offer a subscription service "Pansuku" and an online store for single purchases for B2C customers, as well as wholesale and OEM bread sales, and employee welfare services for B2B clients.

Due to the recent rise in rice prices, the domestic bread market has expanded to approximately 3.3 trillion yen on a retail basis*1. Additionally, the frozen bread market is seeing increasing demand year by year, driven by improvements in freezing technology and labor shortages*2. In particular, baked frozen bread is being actively adopted across various channels, including hotels and the food service industry.

In light of this market background, Pan for You will further enhance its products by leveraging generative AI. Furthermore, to address the severe labor shortage, especially in rural areas, they plan to offer operational efficiency solutions utilizing frozen bread in real-world retail sales environments.

Global Brain highly values Pan for You's achievements in the frozen bread industry and its potential to provide solutions for physical stores, which it will focus on moving forward, and has decided to make this investment. Through this investment, we will actively support the further growth of Pan for You's Bakery DX platform business.
