Global Citizen and FIFA announced that Madonna, Shakira, and BTS will headline the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show on July 19, 2026, at the New York New Jersey Stadium. Curated by Coldplay's Chris Martin, the historic event aims to raise $100 million for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund to provide quality education and football access to children worldwide. The fund has already raised over $30 million, with $1 from every World Cup 2026 ticket sold going towards the cause. Characters from Sesame Street and Disney's The Muppets will also join the show to advocate for children's education rights.
