No.1 Taxi App "GO" and Navigation App for Foreign Tourists "Japan Travel by NAVITIME" Begin Collaboration

Navitime Japan Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Keisuke Onishi, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) and GO Inc. (President and CEO: Hiroshi Nakajima, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo), which operates the No.1* taxi app "GO", will begin offering a "Taxi Dispatch" function within the navigation app for foreign tourists "Japan Travel by NAVITIME" through functional integration, starting July 8, 2026 (Wed).

"Japan Travel by NAVITIME" is an app for foreign tourists with over 2 million monthly active users across its app and web services. Through this initiative, users can call taxis affiliated with "GO" in all 47 prefectures nationwide directly from route searches within "Japan Travel by NAVITIME". Within "Japan Travel by NAVITIME", it is possible to complete the entire process from ordering, including specifying pick-up and drop-off locations and selecting vehicle types, to payment, in a one-stop manner. By integrating the No.1 taxi app with a navigation app for foreign tourists, we aim to contribute to improving the convenience of travel for inbound visitors.

Through a seamless taxi ride experience via the app resulting from this collaboration, both companies hope to meet the unique travel needs of foreign tourists, such as traveling with heavy luggage, or accessing areas during late night/early morning hours or in rural regions, thereby supporting them in enjoying their travel in Japan more comfortably.

From the "Taxi" search results in the "Japan Travel by NAVITIME" app, or from the "Dispatch" button displayed in the vehicle travel sections of "Total Navigation" which combines public transportation and walking, it is possible to dispatch a taxi considering the pick-up and drop-off locations. Particularly in areas around airports where demand is high, the pick-up location can be specified as an in-airport pick-up point, making it convenient to meet the vehicle. Additionally, users can check the estimated arrival time of the taxi and the vehicle's license plate information. A messaging function with the driver is also available, allowing for the sending of preset messages and multilingual translation of messages from the driver. Payment methods include credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
