Yudai Nishida Vows to "Win a Title" on a Tanabata Strip! Seahorses Mikawa Pays Courtesy Visit to Anjo Mayor, Pledging Leap Forward Towards New Arena and B.PREMIER

On Thursday, June 4th, President & CEO Yasuhiro Terabe, Team Director Kenichi Sako, Senior Executive Advisor Hiroshi Shirai, and player #19 Yudai Nishida paid a courtesy visit to Anjo Mayor Motohito Samban, reporting on the team's activities for the 2025-26 season and conveying their aspirations for the 2026-27 season.

We received a warm welcome from the entire Anjo City Hall, and many staff members offered words of encouragement. Yudai Nishida also interacted with staff members involved in citizen services while touring the city hall, and the visit was met with a welcoming atmosphere filled with applause and cheers.

During the meeting with the mayor, we reviewed the season while screening a highlight video of Yudai Nishida's performance this season. The club reported achieving 3rd place overall in the regular season, advancing to the championship for the third consecutive year, and finishing as runners-up in the Emperor's Cup.

Mayor Samban stated, "Although the championship result was disappointing, the club is steadily growing stronger year by year. We expect further leaps forward with the opening of the new arena." He also praised Yudai Nishida for his performance as a member of the Japanese national team and his growth as a key player for the club.

During the conversation, "Ki-bo," the official character of the Anjo Tanabata Festival, also made an appearance, and interaction took place in a relaxed atmosphere. On a wish strip for the Tanabata festival, Yudai Nishida strongly wrote "Win a Title," renewing his determination for the upcoming season.

Following this, we visited the Anjo City Council and reported the end of the season to Speaker Matsumoto and Vice Speaker Ishikawa. We received words of appreciation for the club and players, and they expressed their expectations for the new season as the new league "B.PREMIER" begins.

Through this visit, we reaffirmed that our activities are supported by the people of the community and shared the importance of energizing the city through the power of sports, which was a valuable opportunity.

Moving forward, through the activities of the Seahorses Mikawa Sustainability Project "Be With," we will promote "Community Building," "People Building," and "Team Building," which Seahorses Mikawa values, and advance initiatives that contribute to regional revitalization.
