Nice to meet you all. I am Shin Takayama, and I will be serving as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the SeaHorses Mikawa starting from the 2026-27 season.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone at the club for this opportunity, and to all those who have supported me on my journey to this point. I am who I am today thanks to the connections I've made with each person I've met in various settings, including rugby and university.

I am very happy to become a member of the historic SeaHorses Mikawa at this pivotal moment when the B.League is entering a new phase with "B. Innovation." I feel a sense of destiny in being able to be involved in basketball, the sport that marked the start of my S&C career, and in returning to my birthplace of Aichi to take on this challenge with this club.

I will support the team's development to ensure that each player can consistently perform at their best, by managing both their condition and workload from a sports science perspective, enabling them to compete for a long season.

I will dedicate my full effort to building a better team together with the players, team staff, club, and fans/boosters. I look forward to working with you all.
