GOKKO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Representatives: Satoshi Tanaka, Satoshi Tada), which operates the vertical short drama creator group "Gokko Club", has sequentially released two vertical short dramas on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X as a tie-up project with ZIPAIR Tokyo: "Sora no Oshikatsu" (Oshikatsu in the Sky) and "Kono Kokoro Papa Shirazu" (This Heart, Papa Doesn't Know). The two works generated a massive response on social media after their release, surpassing 10 million cumulative views (as of May 26, 2026). Many comments were received, such as "It was a comfortable flight because I could use Wi-Fi inflight" and "Thanks to ZIPAIR, the world of traveling with children has expanded." Concurrently, an interactive viewer campaign is being held where participants can win up to 50,000 ZIPAIR points.

Background: Why an "Inflight Entertainment Experience" now?

In recent years, an increasing number of young people find value in the "movement itself," such as traveling for live concerts, fandom activities, studying abroad, and workations. On the other hand, the reality is that the image of air travel still remains as "no internet access" and "time to endure boredom."

ZIPAIR has pioneered the industry by introducing free inflight Wi-Fi, "Starlink," on all flights and all seats. In this project, rather than appealing to this feature simply as a technical specification, it aims to redefine the flight experience itself by depicting it through emotion-driven stories rooted in everyday life, such as "traveling for fandom activities" and "family trips."
