GovTech Tokyo (Chairman: Manabu Miyasaka; hereinafter 'GovTech Tokyo') and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Digital Services will host the 'GovTech Conference Global' on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
This conference has been continuously held as a platform to openly discuss the past, present, and future of technology utilization in the public sector field. This time, under the theme of 'Public Sector x AI', it will be held as a global conference to share the latest insights and challenges, incorporating advanced examples.
In the first half's keynote session, Liisa-Ly Pakosta, Minister of Justice and Digital Affairs from Estonia—known as a digitally advanced country—will take the stage. She will introduce the advanced initiatives of digital government promoted by the country so far, including the use of AI in the administrative field.
In the second half's session, representatives from Taipei City, the Seoul AI Foundation, and GovTech Tokyo will take the stage under the theme of 'Public Sector x AI'. They will give presentations on the strategies and specific initiatives for AI utilization in their respective cities, as well as the results achieved so far and future challenges.
This conference is a valuable opportunity to grasp the latest knowledge and technology trends of 'Public Sector x AI' in global cities all at once.
