Sapporo Grand Hotel, operated by Granvista Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd., will open its 'Hokkaido Dining Big Jug' for a limited summer dinner service from Tuesday, June 2, to Saturday, August 29, 2026.
While the restaurant currently operates on a reservation-only basis, it will open to the general public during dinner hours for the summer season. Guests can enjoy Hokkaido-exclusive draft beer, local sake, and wine paired with dishes made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
A highlight of the menu is the 'Original Ramen Salad,' which was created at this very restaurant in 1985. Originally developed by the then-head chef as a way to enjoy ramen during the hot summer months, it has since become a culinary staple across Hokkaido. Other signature dishes include the 'Big Omelet,' 'Stone-grilled Fresh Lamb,' and 'Oven-roasted Whole Hokkaido Onions.'
For those looking for a comprehensive experience, three 2-hour all-you-can-drink plans are available at 5,000 JPY, 6,500 JPY, and 8,000 JPY. While these can be requested on the day, party plans for groups of 10 or more require a reservation by noon the previous day. Operating hours are from 17:00 to 20:30 (L.O.), and the restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Since its founding in 1934 as Hokkaido's first authentic Western-style hotel, the Sapporo Grand Hotel has served as a center for social gathering. This summer, we invite you to enjoy the bounties of Hokkaido in our spacious and welcoming atmosphere.
