TV Anime "The Villager at Lv999" Episode 2 "Lv2: Utterly Foolish" Preview Cuts & Synopsis, Web Trailer Released!

We are pleased to announce that preview cuts, synopsis, and a web trailer for episode 2, "Lv2: Utterly Foolish," of the TV anime "The Villager at Lv999," based on the popular novel series with over 4 million copies in circulation, have been released.

Additionally, a non-credit ending video premiere has been decided to coincide with the broadcast of episode 2.

"The Villager at Lv999" began serialization on "Shosetsuka ni Naro" in 2015 and is published by KADOKAWA. It is a popular novel by Konekoneko Hoshizuki (illustrations by Fumi), with all 8 volumes of the original novel currently on sale.

The manga adaptation is also serialized in "Monthly Comp Ace," with volumes 1-20 available. The series' popularity continues to grow daily, surpassing a cumulative total of 4 million copies.

Episode 2 "Lv2: Utterly Foolish" Synopsis

Koji Kagami, the strongest villager, saves the demon girl Alice from the hero's party's attack. Hearing from Alice about her demon lord father's illness and her wish for coexistence with humans, Koji returns to the adventurer's town of Valman with her. Shortly after reuniting with Takako, a martial artist and Koji's companion, an unprecedented attack begins with the demon army dropping monsters from the sky. In the midst of the chaos, Koji fights with all his might to protect Alice's ideals and daily life.
