The third episode of the TV anime 'Kokoore: After Saying 'Leave It to Me and Go Ahead,' 10 Years Later I Became a Legend,' based on the hit light novel series with over 4.5 million copies in circulation, will air on July 20, 2026 (Mon) at 10:30 PM JST!

The anime will air sequentially on TOKYO MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Aichi, BS11, and AT-X. Additionally, Prime Video will begin streaming the episode three days ahead of broadcast, starting July 17, 2026 (Fri) at 10:30 PM JST.

The anime will also be simulcast on ABEMA and dAnime Store, with additional streaming platforms to follow.

Ahead of the broadcast, the synopsis and preview visuals for Episode 3, titled 'Accused of Being a Secret Child and Forced to Join Her First Adventure,' have been released. Please look forward to the episode's premiere.

'Kokoore' is a popular light novel series by Ezo Gingitsune, serialized on 'Shousetsuka ni Narou' since 2018 and published by SB Creative. Volumes 1–7 are currently available, with the latest Volume 8 scheduled for release around July 15, 2026.

The manga adaptation, serialized on 'Manga UP!' (art by Abeno Chako, story composition by Tenoji Kitsune), is also available, with Volumes 1–20 currently in print.

Episode 3 Synopsis: 'Accused of Being a Secret Child and Forced to Join Her First Adventure'

Rack is mistaken by Serlis, Goran's daughter, as his secret child! After clearing up the misunderstanding, he agrees to accompany her on her first adventurer mission. However, the client's mountain holds a terrifying encounter—a giant dragon! Moreover, deep within the forest, Rack and the others discover a mysterious ancient temple. Inside, they find Luchira, a demon race member, and Gerberga, the sacred rooster holding the key to saving a world targeted by vampires...

Introduction

Rack, an S-rank mage of the hero party, fights fiercely alongside Hero Eric and warrior Goran in the dimensional rift to defeat the Demon King.

To prevent his comrades' annihilation, Rack resolves to fight alone and shouts:

'Leave it to me and go ahead!'

After enduring an unimaginably lonely battle, Rack finally defeats the Demon King.

However, upon returning to his world, ten years have passed. Rack has become a legendary hero who sacrificed himself to save the world.

Due to the battle's effects, Rack appears younger and hides his identity, living as Rack, an F-rank adventurer, alongside his former and new companions.
