GMO Media to Host 'Coeteco EXPO byGMO 2026' - 6th Edition of Programming Education Event

GMO Media, Inc. (CEO: Teruyuki Mori), a member of the GMO Internet Group and operator of the programming education portal 'Coeteco byGMO,' will host 'Coeteco EXPO byGMO 2026' over three days from June 15 (Mon) to 17 (Wed), 2026. The sessions on June 15 and 16 will be held online, followed by a physical event on June 17.

Targeted at programming school owners and practitioners nationwide, the expo will feature leading experts in AI-driven education, private school management specialists, and analysts from Funai Consulting Co., Ltd. The event is designed to provide the latest trends and practical know-how for solving management and marketing challenges in the AI era, with more than 1,000 participants expected over the three days.

Now in its sixth edition, 'Coeteco EXPO byGMO' aims to promote high-quality programming education for children. The first two days will feature keynote speeches by experts and sessions by successful school owners via Zoom webinars. The final day will consist of a 'Premium Seminar & Networking Event' at GMO Yours Fukuras in Shibuya, Tokyo, offering unique opportunities for information exchange and communication among industry professionals.

The event comes as generative AI, such as ChatGPT, fundamentally reshapes teaching, curriculum development, and school operations. With 'Information I' becoming part of the University Entrance Common Test from fiscal 2025, market interest in AI and programming education continues to rise.
