GMO Internet, Inc. (President and CEO: Masatoshi Ito, hereinafter referred to as GMO Internet), part of the GMO Internet Group, will exhibit as a top sponsor with its GPU cloud service for AI development and learning infrastructure, "GMO GPU Cloud," at the "JANOG58 Meeting in Matsuyama" (hereinafter, JANOG58), to be held from July 15 (Wed) to July 17 (Fri), 2026, at the Ehime Prefectural Culture Hall.
Maximizing GPU computational performance in large-scale distributed learning requires low-latency, high-bandwidth networks between multiple nodes (servers) and stable storage. The performance of GPU cloud is inseparable from network design, and the purpose of this exhibition is to share and deepen knowledge within "JANOG," Japan's largest community of network engineers.
The "GMO GPU Cloud" booth will feature live demonstrations of 400Gbps (a super-high-speed communication standard capable of transferring 400 gigabits or 50 gigabytes of data per second) wire-speed connectivity, as well as demonstration data of remote distributed AI infrastructure utilizing IOWN APN (*1). We aim to provide a venue for technical exchange and information sharing with attending engineers.

[Booth Exhibition Content]
Under the theme "What should network infrastructure be in the AI era?", the "GMO GPU Cloud" booth will feature the following exhibits. Exhibition content may be subject to change.
Exhibit 1: NVIDIA BlueField-3 SuperNIC Live Demo - 400Gbps Demonstration
We will operate actual equipment within the booth to conduct real-time demonstrations of 400Gbps wire-speed measurements and throughput using NVIDIA BlueField-3 SuperNIC.

Exhibit 2: Japan's First Adoption of NVIDIA Spectrum-X - AI-Specific Network Design
We will explain why NVIDIA Spectrum-X, adopted for the first time by a Japanese cloud provider (*2), is effective for AI distributed learning. Engineers will directly explain the core design aspects, such as latency reduction through adaptive routing and throughput stabilization in multi-tenant environments.

Exhibit 3: Publication of Actual Measurement Values for Remote GPU Learning Between Tokyo and Fukuoka - IOWN APN Utilization Demonstration
We will release the results of a demonstration of AI infrastructure that remotely connected GPUs and storage between Tokyo and Fukuoka using NTT's next-generation optical communication infrastructure "IOWN APN." This demonstration by NTT East, NTT West, QTnet, and GMO Internet will showcase the potential for new AI infrastructure designs that transcend the geographical constraints of data centers. Actual measurement values in a remote environment and comparative data with a local environment will be available for viewing at the booth.
[About JANOG58]
JANOG (JApan Network Operators' Group) is a Japanese network engineer community aimed at discussing and sharing information on internet technology and operations. The 58th JANOG meeting, "JANOG58 Meeting in Matsuyama," held twice a year, has the theme "Maturity of Technology and Succession to the Next Generation." Discussions rooted in the field, from the latest technological trends to operational know-how, will take place.

[Future Development]
With the group slogan "Internet for Everyone," the GMO Internet Group will continue to provide top-tier GPU cloud services in the AI infrastructure domain. We will contribute to the development of Japan's AI industry by promoting the early adoption of cutting-edge GPUs, evolving AI-specialized cloud infrastructure including networks and storage, and contributing to technology communities.
[About "GMO GPU Cloud"] (URL: https://gpucloud.gmo/)
"GMO GPU Cloud" is equipped with NVIDIA Hopper GPUs and implements Japan's first high-speed network NVIDIA Spectrum-X and high-speed storage. In December 2025, we will launch a cloud service for "NVIDIA HGX B300" equipped with NVIDIA's next-generation GPU "NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPU" (*3), realizing a high-performance environment that supports the most advanced AI workloads. In the world's supercomputer performance ranking "TOP500" announced in November 2024 (*4), it ranked 37th globally and 6th in Japan, providing one of the fastest computing infrastructures in Japan for commercial cloud services. Furthermore, in the "ClusterMAXTM2.0" (*5) international GPU cloud evaluation report by US-based SemiAnalysis, covering over 200 companies worldwide, it received a "Silver" rating as the first Japanese GPU cloud provider, internationally proving it to be a top-tier AI computing infrastructure in Japan in terms of both performance and reliability.
