KADOKAWA Corporation will release the light novel "Sajo Maid Senkan Kissa Apocalypchu e Yokoso" (Dengeki Bunko), the Silver Prize winner of the 32nd Dengeki Novel Prize, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

The story is a girls' fantasy set in a near-future Japan buried under sand due to mysterious massive sandfalls. Segume, a girl wandering the desert, finds herself at 'Apocalypchu,' a maid cafe established on a mysterious battleship that travels the sands. As an apprentice maid, she serves customers and fights to save people under the guidance of the captain and head maid, Hagoromo.

To celebrate the launch, special events will be held at the AKIHABARA Gamers Main Store. Starting at 5:00 PM on June 10, original fans will be distributed for free at the storefront. At 6:30 PM, a photo session featuring popular cosplayer Netochka will be held for book purchasers.
