KADOKAWA Corporation will release three new titles from its Kadokawa Shinsho paperback label on Wednesday, June 10th.

The three new publications are: 'History of Japanese Strategists' by Yuichi Goza, which explores the reality behind the modern image of military strategists; 'World Problems You'll Be Embarrassed Not to Know 17: The Era of the US, China, and Russia Tri-Polar Structure' by Akira Ikegami, which analyzes the struggle for hegemony among global powers; and 'Mongolian Internment: The Abandoned Dead' by Hirohiko Ide, which investigates the forgotten history of post-war detainees in Mongolia.

E-book versions are also available.

An overview of each work is as follows:

'History of Japanese Strategists' This book investigates when the image of military strategists (such as Kansuke Yamamoto and Kanbee Kuroda) held by modern Japanese people was created. It reveals that during the Sengoku period, the position and even the word 'strategist' did not exist, and clarifies how this image was formed and evolved over time.
