KADOKAWA Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Director, Representative Executive Officer, President & CEO: Tsuyoshi Konno; hereinafter 'KADOKAWA') announces the launch of the 'Next Heroine Collection' in the October 2026 issue of Monthly Comic Alive, to be released on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

For four consecutive months, real-life heroines aged 20—matching the magazine's age—will appear in the magazine alongside the new serialization wave on the 'Alive+' web label!

In commemoration of its 20th anniversary, Monthly Comic Alive held the 'Alive Queen Decision Battle' in its August 2026 issue, selecting the 'most radiant heroine' among 12 elite heroines from ongoing series.

Following this, starting with the October 2026 issue, the magazine launches the 'Next Heroine Collection' to discover the next generation of Alive Queens. As new series debut on the web label 'Alive+', the magazine will also feature real-life heroines aged 20 with exclusive photo shoots and interviews.

First Feature: Real-Life Heroine 【Minami Miyuka】

The first real-life heroine is 【Minami Miyuka】. She appears as a bright and proactive 'classic heroine' in a special photoshoot, accompanied by a charming interview. On 'Alive+', detailed interviews and diagnostic results not included in the print magazine are being published!
