Arknights: Endfield Launches Core Version 'Xiang Yuan Xing' Today! Half-Anniversary Pop-Up Event Starts Tomorrow at BellSquare Akihabara

Today, July 16 (Thursday), GRYPHLINE has launched the core version 'Xiang Yuan Xing' for its 3D real-time strategy RPG Arknights: Endfield.

This version adds two new areas, hosts the largest number of in-game events to date, and introduces Okugi, the first ★6 mage operator who can adapt to various combat styles by changing her status.

Additionally, various initiatives are being rolled out to celebrate the game’s half-anniversary, including external collaborations and offline events.

Core Version 'Xiang Yuan Xing' Now Live

・Largest Main Quest Map Update to Date

The core version 'Xiang Yuan Xing' introduces two new areas: 'Yinglong Pass' and 'Northern Wuling Blockade Zone', delivering the largest main story update in the game’s history.

・First ★6 Operator with Status-Based Skill Switching Mechanic

A new ★6 operator, Okugi, makes her debut.

Starting today, July 16 (Thursday) at 13:00, the special scout 'Lin Yuan Wang Bei' will be available. During this period, the drop rate for Okugi will be increased.

Alongside the special scout, the Wuku Exchange will add a new ★6 Arts unit, '42-Style: Su Zhen', and the 'Zhan Lie: Application' weapon application will also become available.

・New ★6 Operator 'Lino' Arrives August 9

Starting August 9, a special scout 'Sparkling Kirara Star' will be held, increasing the drop rate for the new ★6 operator Lino.

Additionally, alongside the special scout 'Shining Bright Star', the weapon application 'Ming Xing: Application' will be available, allowing players to obtain the ★6 polearm weapon 'Prism Knight Debut'.

Separate 7-day login campaigns and operator trial events will also be held alongside each scout. Logging in will allow players to earn various rewards, including special scout tickets for the featured operators.

'Main Quest Early Access: Wuling' Event Implemented

After the update, completing the main quest 'Repair Progress' will unlock the 'Main Quest Early Access' feature, allowing players to access Wuling and related main quests via the event screen. Note that this early access will not affect progress in Chapter 1.

Even if players access Wuling early, related systems and status balance will be adjusted according to progression, allowing normal gameplay in exploration, combat, development, and enhancement.

Players who haven’t yet reached Wuling in the story can now experience the new area ahead of schedule.

New Industrial System Centered on 'Gas'

A new industrial form centered on 'Gas'—unseen before in the game—is being introduced. Related facilities, production lines, and new equipment are all implemented at once. The 'Integrated Industrial System' built by players will evolve further with this update, offering richer and more diverse production experiences.

New Seasonal Perpetual Event 'War Resonance' Launches

A new high-level content, 'War Resonance', launches alongside the 'Xiang Yuan Xing' version. Players can challenge multiple stages across three difficulty levels and collect stars based on clear ratings to earn season-limited titles. New stages will be added each season going forward.

New 'Decorations' Added

This update adds new decorations obtainable via Talo-site exchange.

A variety of unique decorations will be available to personalize favorite operators, including Okugi’s 'Cub Roar Beast Tower', Lino’s commemorative items such as the 'Ribbon Voice' microphone, 'Idol Pose' standee, and 'Kirara Star' plushie.

Half-Anniversary 'Bond Celebration' Campaign

To commemorate the half-anniversary, the 'Bond Celebration' campaign will be held.

Entering the serial code 'EndfieldRenew' in-game will reward the photo-taking sticker 'Work Helmet' and gold discount coupons.

Additionally, a 3-day limited stamp rally called 'Bond Benefits' will be held. Players can participate in a daily scratch card event from the event screen, earning rewards such as red crystal shards and development/upgrade materials.

New Content Rolling Out

Perpetual events 'Monument of Vision' and 'Explorer of the Depths' will be updated.

'Monument of Vision' adds a new high-difficulty series, 'Beast Roar of the Mountain'. Concurrently, the time-limited high-level event 'Trace of Memory: Beast Roar' will be held, offering various rewards including red crystal shards.

'Explorer of the Depths' adds a new spatial cluster: 'Six-Sided Secret Realm'.

Additionally, leisure event 'Vein Wonders' and a new 2-player battle event 'Burn Up! Arena!' will be rolled out sequentially.

Collaboration and Tie-Up Announcements

・ Arknights: Endfield x GiGO Collaboration Starts July 17

A collaboration event with crane game brand 'GiGO' will run for approximately one and a half months. During the event, players can win new limited goods themed after 10 operators via crane games. Participating stores will also sell special taiyaki and distribute exclusive in-store benefits.

・ Half-Anniversary Pop-Up Event at BellSquare Akihabara

To celebrate the new version launch, a 4-day offline pop-up event will be held at BellSquare Akihabara in Akihabara.

The venue will feature exhibitions, mini-games, merchandise sales, and other activities themed around Arknights: Endfield.
