Haier Japan Sales Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Representative Director and President: Du Jingguo) signed a collaboration agreement with Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture on July 16, 2026, for local revitalization and business promotion.

About the Collaboration Agreement

Haier Japan Sales Co., Ltd. and Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture aim to strengthen mutual cooperation to address various challenges faced by the region, including welfare, environment, disaster prevention, and urban development. The agreement aims to promote local revitalization in Matsuyama City, further develop the regional society, and ensure rapid and smooth supply of materials in times of disaster. The company will donate the suction floor wiping vacuum cleaner 'MIZUKI (JC-M1A)' and fabric washing vacuum cleaner 'MIZUKI nu-no (JC-RPS1A)' to municipal daycare facilities in Matsuyama City to improve environmental hygiene management and streamline cleaning operations. This will create a more hygienic and secure environment for children, reduce the workload of caregivers, and promote a better child-rearing environment in Matsuyama City. In the future, we will also conduct demonstration experiments using the donated home appliances at municipal daycare facilities and develop products based on feedback from the field. Additionally, as part of this collaboration agreement, we will donate the floor-standing spot air conditioner (JA-SPH26C) as a disaster preparedness measure. By prioritizing the provision of home appliances in times of disaster, we will also contribute to strengthening the region's disaster prevention capabilities.

About the Suction Floor Wiping Vacuum Cleaner 'MIZUKI (JC-M1A)'

This product was developed to address customer needs related to floor cleaning with vacuum cleaners and mops, such as 'I notice stickiness or roughness when walking barefoot,' 'I want to easily clean oil stains, sand, and pollen,' 'I want to wipe with water but it's too strenuous on my legs,' and 'Wiping with water is tiring because I need to use strong force.'

The suction floor wiping vacuum cleaner 'MIZUKI (JC-M1A)' is a product that solves such needs at once, featuring a stick cleaner with 'Multi-Powerful Suction' that sucks up dirt while wiping with water and drying. This product was jointly developed with Haruko Niitsu, an employee of Japan Airport Terminal Co., Ltd. Utilizing Niitsu's experience and skills as a cleaning professional who has long supported Haneda Airport, known as the 'cleanest airport in the world,' this stick cleaner can clean fine dust that previous vacuum cleaners could not suck up and stubborn stains that dry wiping could not remove. It has received the 16th Parenting Award in the Goods and Services category and continues to receive high evaluations from the market.

About the Fabric Washing Vacuum Cleaner 'MIZUKI nu-no (JC-RPS1A)' Hot Water Steam Model

The second product in the 'MIZUKI' series, this fabric washing vacuum cleaner was developed with the concept of 'Let's wash more fabrics' in response to many voices saying, 'I wanted to wash fabric products around me.' It realizes the easy and convenient maintenance of fabric products such as sofas and car seats, which were previously considered difficult to wash because they cannot be put in a washing machine, and carpets and baby strollers, which are difficult to remove or carry and wash.

This product sprays water from the tank through the nozzle to float dirt that has penetrated the fabric. Then, the brush scrapes out the floated dirt, and it is sucked in with a force of up to 15,000Pa, thoroughly cleaning fabric products such as sofas, carpets, baby strollers, and car seats, which were previously difficult to wash, from the surface of the fabric to the depths of the fibers.

The hot water steam model (JC-RPS1A) is equipped with a '60°C Hot Water Mode' that heats the water to 60°C using the heater inside the main unit to clean oil-soluble stains that are difficult to remove at room temperature, and a 'Steam Mode' that heats the water to 100°C using the heater inside the main unit and sprays it as high-temperature steam from the nozzle to deodorize approximately 99% of odors such as tobacco, food, and pet urine, and also confirmed to have approximately 99% dust mite killing effect.

The floor-standing spot air conditioner (JA-SPH26C) is a portable air conditioner that does not require refrigerant piping work and can be installed anywhere as long as there is a power source.
