HAKUBAVALLEY TOURISM (HVT) has compiled the visitor statistics for the 10 ski resorts in Hakuba Valley for the 2025-26 season. The total number of visitors was 1.925 million.

International demand remains strong, with foreign visitors accounting for 48% of the total, reaching 925,000 (a 117% increase year-on-year).

With the expansion of tourism demand, challenges such as labor shortages and regional co-existence have become apparent. HVT will launch a new organizational structure from the 2026 fiscal year to promote sustainable tourism development and strengthen its functions as a DMO.
