The Hakuhodo Institute of Life and Living has announced the results of its 'Global Teiten 2026' survey, covering nine countries including Japan, China, ASEAN, and India. Conducted annually since 2023, the survey tracks changes in consumption and values among 14,000 men and women aged 15 to 59. Significant shifts were observed, such as an increased tendency in Japan to 'give up on desired items' and a rise in the belief in China that one can 'be happy without money.' The data will be used to support the Hakuhodo Group's marketing proposals.
