The "Umbrella Festival" is one of Hanshin's signature events, and this year, it will again feature an impressive display of approximately 12,000 umbrellas.

In an era where it is becoming common for both men and women to carry parasols due to intensifying UV rays and prolonged extreme heat, the store has prepared about 8,000 parasols and all-weather umbrellas. For the first time, a "genderless zone" has been established, making the retail floor accessible regardless of gender, and the display area for men's umbrellas has been doubled.

Furthermore, to counter guerrilla rainstorms and heatstroke, the event offers a variety of products, including those with high water repellency and heat-shielding effects, as well as unique items like "square parasols" and "anti-crime umbrellas." The festival also carries rainwear for comfortable cycling on rainy days, and high-performance UV goods for hot days. Additionally, a sale corner will feature about 3,000 umbrellas starting from 2,200 yen (tax included).
