Billboard Japan (Hanshin Contents Link Co., Ltd.) and companies based in Okinawa, operating under the project <Symphonic Seeds Project for Okinawa> aimed at revitalizing classical music in Okinawa, have decided to hold [billboard classics × Ryukyu Symphony Orchestra Fureai Concert in Miyakojima 2026].

The concert will be held on Sunday, August 16, at JTA Dome Miyakojima. The guest will be Daisuke Yokoyama, the beloved 'Song Brother' of many children, who will join the Ryukyu Symphony Orchestra in a colorful orchestral performance of family-friendly classics. Additionally, Minami Shimoji, a singer based in Miyakojima, will perform again this year, and the Miyako Children's Choir will make their first appearance. The program will feature beloved local songs from Miyakojima and a special stage with the energetic voices of local children.

The <Symphonic Seeds Project for Okinawa>, which organizes the concert, was launched in 2023 following the Okinawa performance of Billboard Classics. The project involves Billboard Classics, the Ryukyu Symphony Orchestra, Yoshimoto Entertainment Okinawa Co., Ltd., and Quick Co., Ltd. In conjunction with the Miyakojima performance, a 'Town Concert' by members of the Ryukyu Symphony Orchestra will be held on Saturday, August 15, offering a moving musical experience for the children of Miyakojima.
