Kobe Rokko Railway Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nada-ku, Kobe; President: Naoya Kawabe) has been conducting renewal work on Rokko Cable vehicles and station facilities over a two-year period starting in 2025, with the aim of improving safety and service. Following the completion of the second phase of construction, we are pleased to announce that the Rokko Cable Line (between Rokko-Cable-shita Station and Rokko-Sanjo Station), which had been suspended since January 5, 2026, with substitute bus services in operation, will resume normal service. 1. Resumption Date From the first train on Saturday, April 11, 2026 (departing at 7:10 AM) *Substitute bus services will end after the final service on Friday, April 10, 2026. 2. Schedule After Resumption In principle, the schedule remains the same as before. *First train at 7:10, 7:40, then every 20 minutes until 20:40, with the final train at 21:10. However, service will run at 30-minute intervals during the 12:00 PM hour on weekdays (excluding holidays). (Previously, this 30-minute interval applied only on Tuesdays.) 3. Main Content of Phase 2 Construction ・Renewal of flooring and seat upholstery for observation cars (2 cars), and replacement of acrylic roofs for observation cars (1 car). ・Repainting of vehicle exteriors (2 cars). ・Replacement of underframe structures for vehicles (2 cars). ・Construction of a new vehicle inspection pit at Rokko-Cable-shita Station. 4.
