Heijoen Co., Ltd., operator of the Wagyu BBQ chain "Heijoen," will release two summer-limited cold noodle dishes, "Tom Yum Goong Cold Noodles" and "Clam Broth Cold Noodles," on May 25, 2026 (Monday), at selected locations. These dishes are based on winning entries from the company's internal cooking contest.

Since its founding, Heijoen has practiced "whole-cow purchasing" of Wagyu beef, selecting cattle based on quality and grade rather than specific brands. By sourcing over 800 head annually, the company maintains stable pricing and quality while managing the entire process, including aging, processing, and distribution, within its own facilities to ensure safety and quality.

With rising temperatures in recent years, the company has been offering summer-limited cold noodle menus in two phases since last year to provide a sense of cooling. For the first phase, themed "Cold noodles for early summer to enjoy umami," two dishes that won the excellence award in a cooking contest by store staff were selected for commercialization.

"Tom Yum Goong Cold Noodles" offers a refreshing acidity from pineapple combined with an ethnic flavor, while "Clam Broth Cold Noodles" features a mild salt-based broth rich in clam umami. Both soups were carefully crafted to be drinkable until the last drop, creating bowls unique to a BBQ restaurant.

Heijoen continues to focus on the appeal of Wagyu BBQ while proposing seasonal tastes and new dining experiences, delivering the "Unchanging, Unwavering, Heijoen Quality" to more customers.
