【Heiwado】May 23 (Sat): '2026 Inter-High Eve' at Viva City Hikone

Heiwado Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hikone, Shiga; President & CEO: Masatsugu Hiramatsu) will host the '2026 Inter-High Eve ~Coming Soon Edition~ Countdown to IH Created by Everyone' on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Viva City Hikone. This event is part of a project commissioned by Shiga Prefecture to plan pre-events for the 2026 National High School Comprehensive Athletic Tournament.

This year's Inter-High will be held across various prefectures in the Kinki region. Notably, Shiga Prefecture will host the comprehensive opening ceremony for the first time in 47 years. This large-scale PR event aims to raise awareness and excitement among Shiga residents. The high school students of the Shiga Prefecture High School Student Activity Promotion Committee have handled everything from initial brainstorming and preparation to on-the-day operations and PR distribution. Heiwado will continue to support these students' initiatives leading up to the Inter-High.
