Heralbony Co., Ltd. has made its first appearance at "Matter&Shape," an international exhibition for exceptional projects held in Paris.
Matter&Shape is an exhibition held during Paris Fashion Week, bringing together leading creators from the industry, including department stores, select shops, and international fashion companies from around the world, as well as architects, designers, museums, galleries, design offices, and fashion media.
This time, as a proposal to creators active worldwide, Heralbony pursued expressing the charm of original artworks in various forms using Japan's proud and diverse long-standing techniques.
When expressing art, what techniques should it be combined with? The answer was to achieve collaborations with highly skilled craftsmanship: Nambu ironware from Suzuki Morihisa Studio, Nishijin-ori weaving from Kaji Orimono, and Yokoburi embroidery from Okiri. We meticulously reinterpreted and reconstructed every detail of the artwork's presence and power, including its three-dimensionality, density, number of colors, and even the direction of brushstrokes.

The collaboration with Suzuki Morihisa Studio, a Nambu ironware workshop boasting a 400-year history, which was carried out in October 2025, is being exhibited with new art added as a Paris edition. The fusion of Suzuki Morihisa Studio's tradition, highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally for its advanced casting techniques and beautiful forms, and Heralbony's vision to create culture from Morioka to the world, has realized a new expression where craftsmanship and art meet.
