HERALBONY ACADEMY Launches 'School-type Public Course', a DE&I Training Open to Individuals Starting in May

Heralbony Co., Ltd. (Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture, Representative Directors and Co-CEOs: Takaya Matsuda, Fumito Matsuda, hereafter "Heralbony") will begin a full-scale rollout of a new "School-type Public Course," a personal participation program aimed at business professionals within its experiential DE&I training "HERALBONY ACADEMY" provided to corporations. Previously, HERALBONY ACADEMY has delivered experiential DE&I programs to over 50 companies and more than 5,000 corporate participants. By extending the content developed for corporations to individuals, we will expand a continuous program that helps people internalize DE&I and translate it into organizational action. The first session is a 1-Day Edition to be held on Monday, May 25.

● Background of the Launch While many companies are promoting DE&I, they face challenges such as "discussions becoming superficial if kept only internal" and "lacking opportunities to learn about practical examples from other companies." Until now, "HERALBONY ACADEMY" has provided custom training for each company. To meet the needs of individuals wishing to take the course outside a corporate framework, we have introduced a new "school format" where participants across different industries and positions gather to learn together. By making it an open format available from a single participant, regardless of organizational size, we will cultivate the ground to advance DE&I alongside like-minded peers.

● Features of this Program Feature 1: "Insights" gained specifically by learning with multiple companies By learning alongside participants from different industries, occupations, and positions, you can re-evaluate challenges and possibilities that are hard to see from within your own company alone. Being exposed to the practices and conflicts of others serves as an opportunity to deepen your own inquiries.

Feature 2: Moving from "knowing" to "experiencing" DE&I through hands-on activities Through not only lectures but also workshops and dialogue, participants learn experientially about the importance of creating environments where diversity thrives. Rather than ending with just understanding, we break it down into hints and actions that connect to behaviors starting tomorrow.

Feature 3: An easy-to-start design, allowing participation from 1 person and 1 day Even if large-scale implementation as a company is difficult, participation is possible from a single person. As it accommodates both applications as a corporate representative and as an individual, those who want to start small can also participate.
