HerLifeLab Inc. (HQ: Okinawa Prefecture; Representatives: Olga Eliseeva, Kyoko Otsuka), operator of the menopause-specialized online clinic 'Vivalle,' has raised 130 million yen in a Pre-Series A funding round.

This round saw participation from Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities, Tsuryo Fund, Okinawa Development Finance Corporation, angel investors, and existing investors Incubate Fund and Lifetime Ventures. The funds will be used for product development and brand reinforcement.

With this round, HerLifeLab's cumulative funding reaches approximately 200 million yen.

### Background: Menopause is Not Just an Individual Issue

Despite 12 million women in Japan's menopause generation (45–54) suffering from symptoms, less than 10% seek medical help. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry estimates the economic loss due to menopausal disorders at approximately 1.9 trillion yen annually. As the working population declines, the health issues of women in their 40s and 50s are a critical societal problem.

### Service: 'Vivalle,' Accompanied Online Menopause Care

Vivalle is Japan's first integrated medical online menopause clinic, combining specialized medical consultations with continuous counseling support.

Nursing counselors provide personalized care including Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), herbal medicines, supplements, psychological counseling, and nutritional/lifestyle guidance.

**Key Features:** - Continuous counseling (monthly monitoring) - Personalized treatment plans (HRT, herbal, etc.) - Nationwide online consultations

With over 10,000 consultations provided, over 90% of users report symptom improvement, and the retention rate stands at 95%.

### Purpose of Funding

Since launching in December 2023, the company has focused on product development. With tailwinds from increased social advancement of women, medical AI development, and regulatory changes, the company will scale its brand to reach the 12 million women currently lacking access to care.

**Investor Comments (Summary):** - **Saiko Nanri, Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities**: Menopause impacts corporate productivity. We will support the company's growth in the medium to long term. - **Kenichiro Toyosato, Tsuryo Fund**: The significance of solving this issue from Okinawa is huge.
