Rebroadcasting Amakusa Shiro through Contemporary Art: Art Book Publication Commemorative Original Drawing Exhibition at mio camino Amakusa during Golden Week

High Spirits & You Inc., in cooperation with Kami-Amakusa City and the Amakusa Shiro Museum, will hold an original drawing exhibition at mio camino Amakusa in Kami-Amakusa City, Kumamoto Prefecture, from Saturday, May 2 to Sunday, May 10, 2026. This exhibition commemorates the publication of the ROMANs art book 'Amakusa Shiro - Legendary Boy'. Set against the backdrop of Amakusa during Golden Week, this project aims to broadcast Amakusa Shiro, a regional historical figure, as contemporary art.

In this original drawing exhibition, the original artworks featured in the art book will be displayed, allowing visitors to view up close the brushstrokes, colors, and the atmosphere of the artwork's world that cannot be fully conveyed on paper. It will be an opportunity to experience the charm of this work, which reinterprets the existence of Amakusa Shiro not only as a historical figure but as a symbol of prayer and hope.
