[50th Anniversary] MLB Official Artist Charles Fazzino’s 3D Pop Art Exhibition to be Held at Ryubo Department Store

An exhibition featuring Charles Fazzino, a renowned American 3D pop art artist and official MLB artist, will be held at Ryubo Department Store starting June 2, 2026.

Based in New York with over 30 years of career experience, Fazzino has established himself as a 'pop culture historian,' documenting the history of contemporary pop art.

His works are created using a unique '3D layering technique' where multiple prints are cut into parts and hand-stacked using silicone. Finished with glitter and Swarovski crystals, the works possess a depth and brilliance that flat art cannot replicate.

In recent years, Fazzino has focused on producing works themed around Japanese culture, with his 'Traveling Japan' series gaining attention both domestically and internationally.

The exhibition is designed to be easily accessible to families and those unfamiliar with art, allowing them to enjoy the works within the department store setting.
