This event started in 2002 as a venue for children who will lead the next generation to experience the appeal and fun of manufacturing through PC assembly and factory tours. 2026 marks its 23rd year.
This time, participants will assemble either the latest Let's Note models "SC7" or "FC7," released in April 2026. Both are the first Let's Note Copilot+ PCs equipped with Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra Series 3 processors.
The "SC7" is a compact model, smaller than an A4-sized notebook, featuring a 12.4-inch LCD. With a lightweight body of approximately 949g (※) and up, it is easy to carry and recommended for free research, information gathering, and report writing at schools, libraries, and parks.
The "FC7" features a large 14.0-inch LCD screen, making it easy to work with. Its clear picture quality and crisp audio are also recommended for online learning and music/video viewing.
Participants can choose their preferred model from these two based on their intended use.
<Features of this Workshop>
1. Experience "How a PC is Made" Firsthand: Deepen understanding of manufacturing by assembling your own original mobile personal computer.
2. Valuable Factory Experience: Experience assembly at one of Japan's few factories that handles everything from component mounting to final assembly.
3. Opportunity to Engage with Manufacturing and Latest Technology: In addition to tours of the showroom and production line, participants can also experience events related to manufacturing and the latest technology, which accompanying family members can also enjoy.
