[San Francisco, USA, June 10, 2026] Tripo AI, a global AI company specializing in AI 3D Foundation Models and world models, announced today that it has completed its Series A+ and Series A++ funding rounds, raising a total of approximately $200 million USD.

The funds raised will be used to expand the AI 3D and world model research team, accelerate core algorithm development, strengthen data foundations and infrastructure systems, and expand product and ecosystem reach globally.

Simultaneously with the funding, the company announced "Project Eden," a world model research initiative aiming to realize sustainable, reusable, and multiplayer-ready interactive environments. Project Eden represents Tripo AI's next endeavor toward building environments where users can create, modify, and experience interactive worlds, maintaining their state over time.

Project Eden: From View Generation to World Maintenance

While Large Language Models (LLMs) predict the next word and video generation models render the next frame, world models go a step further by continuously maintaining and updating the state of an environment that changes based on user actions, agent behavior, and the passage of time.

Project Eden is Tripo AI's research initiative to build persistent world models through a loosely coupled architecture that separates World State from visual rendering. This architecture consists of three layers:

1. Structured State Layer: Maintains the foundation of the 3D world, including scene geometry, object IDs, attributes, and event logic, independent of specific camera viewpoints.

2. State-to-Observation Interface: Converts the underlying world state into semantic and geometric conditions necessary for rendering from different viewpoints, while maintaining multi-view consistency.

3. Generative Rendering Layer: Uses the conditions derived from the state to generate high-definition visual output in real-time, supporting an immersive, interactive user experience.

Project Eden aims to realize three core functions:

Long-horizon Environmental Persistence: The world maintains a consistent state even when viewpoints change, users exit, or during prolonged exploration.

Reusable and Editable Worlds: Users and agents can modify the underlying world state, and these changes are reflected to other participants accessing the same environment later.

Simultaneous Multiplayer Interaction: Based on a shared world state, multiple human users and AI agents can interact simultaneously. Each participant receives an independent rendering viewpoint while contributing to a common, evolving environment.

Project Eden is expected to become the core engine for next-generation interactive content production and a simulation foundation for Embodied AI research, multi-agent evaluation, and interactive world generation.

Tripo AI will continue R&D on complex scene simulation, physical dynamics, free-viewpoint exploration, object-level interaction, real-time rendering, and state transition models that update worlds based on actions.

Evolution of AI 3D Foundation Models

Tripo AI has developed a series of 3D generation models to enable faster and easier generation of high-quality spatial content. The latest models, "Tripo H3.1" and "Tripo P1.0," released in March 2026, follow this trend.

Tripo H3.1 specializes in generating high-precision geometry with high structural accuracy, while Tripo P1.0 is designed to generate production-ready meshes within seconds.

With these advancements, generated 3D content moves beyond being merely "viewable" toward being persistent world content that can be "utilized, edited, interacted with, and evolved."
