[Seminar Announcement] Why IT Controls Become Difficult to Maintain - Reviewing the Prerequisites for Audit Response Starting from ID Management -

Together with Axio, we will explain the difficulties in maintaining IT controls and the key points of audit response starting from ID management.

IT controls are not maintained simply by establishing systems and policies. In the field of auditing and internal controls, questions such as "Why was that authority granted?" and "Why was it not corrected?" are repeatedly asked. However, in reality, controls that should have been in place at the time of design often become difficult to maintain over time. The background to this is the structural issue that ID management and access control management cannot sufficiently keep up with the movement of people, such as organizational restructuring, personnel changes, and an increase in concurrent roles and outsourcing. It is not a lack of individual products or functions, but the accumulation of small discrepancies that occur in daily operations that ultimately makes it difficult to maintain IT controls.

In this seminar, KPMG and Axio will explain from their respective positions the structure by which IT controls begin to falter, and the prerequisites for design and operation.

Session 2: IT Control Strategy in the Generative AI Era - Updating for Sustainable ID Management

For over 20 years, Axio has been a specialist group in the introduction of authentication infrastructure, particularly ID management systems, and has implemented ID management systems for numerous clients. Currently, Axio is jointly developing "Keyspider" with Keyspider Inc., expanding its domain from a system integrator to a manufacturer that provides ID management "services." This decision was made because services that can realize requirements not achievable with conventional products are necessary for IT controls in the coming era of generative AI and agentic AI. We will explain the design process for "sustainable controls" achieved through our SI experience and how to update them to next-generation IT controls using the ID management service "Keyspider."
