LEGO® Festival in Marunouchi 2026 to Be Held – Play Unites the City!

Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd., in co-hosting with LEGO Japan Co., Ltd. and with cooperation from Mitsubishi Estate Property Management Co., Ltd., will hold the 'LEGO® Festival in Marunouchi 2026 – Play Unites the City!' from Friday, July 31 to Sunday, August 23 in the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho areas (hereinafter 'Marunouchi area'). Centered on indoor spaces throughout the Marunouchi area, the festival will offer a wide range of interactive experiences where people of all ages, from children to adults, can freely express their creativity using LEGO® bricks.

At Marunouchi Building 1F MarCube—the main venue—the experiential activity 'Let’s Build a New Marunouchi!' invites participants to create a cityscape using LEGO® bricks. This hands-on experience encourages children to develop their creativity and imagination through trial and error.

Additionally, workshops will be held for guests aged 18 and over to assemble popular interior-friendly LEGO® Botanical sets such as the 'Pink Rose.' A LEGO® Pool featuring LEGO® DUPLO® bricks, designed for children aged 1.5 years and older, will also be available.

Furthermore, the festival will feature a LEGO® One Piece stamp rally and photo rally across various locations in the Marunouchi area, offering fun summer activities that bring the entire district together and create new excitement.

Marunouchi Building 1F MarCube

【Let’s Build a New Marunouchi!】

An experiential activity where participants use LEGO® bricks to build a new cityscape of Marunouchi. Participants are encouraged to imagine, 'What kind of town, school, or space would be great to have?' and freely express their ideal city using LEGO® bricks.

Completed works will be displayed in MarCube, allowing each participant to feel like a co-creator of the city. Through everyone’s participation, the cityscape of Marunouchi will gradually take shape during the event, culminating in a large collaborative city made from all participants’ creations.

Period: August 1 (Sat), 2 (Sun), 8 (Sat), 9 (Sun), 11 (Tue/Holiday), 15 (Sat), 16 (Sun), 22 (Sat)

Additionally, by presenting a receipt showing same-day spending of 3,000 yen or more (tax included) at Marunouchi Point participating stores, participants can take home a mini LEGO® brick kit.

【LEGO® Botanical Workshop (For Adults)】

A workshop where participants assemble various types of flowers from the 'LEGO® Botanical Series.' Choose the popular 'Pink Rose' and one additional flower of your choice from the series. The assembled pink rose can be taken home as a personal keepsake or gift. The second flower will be displayed in MarCube, combining all participants’ works into a large floral garden.

【Exhibition】

At the center of MarCube 1F, a LEGO® brick flower garden created with the LEGO® Botanical Series will be displayed. During the event, works created by participants in 'Let’s Build a New Marunouchi!' and the 'LEGO® Botanical Workshop' will be exhibited around this garden, enhancing the Marunouchi Nakadori glass façade of MarCube. On the final day, August 23 (Sun), over 2,800 works are expected to be displayed. Together, all participants’ creations will form one large city and garden.

【LEGO® Pool】

A pool filled with LEGO® DUPLO® bricks, designed for easy handling by young children, will be set up for children aged 1.5 years and older. No registration required—this is a family-friendly activity for all to enjoy.

【Collect, Build, and Embark on an Adventure! LEGO® One Piece Stamp Rally】

～Explore Marunouchi and Get Chopper’s Hat!～

A stamp rally across three locations in the Marunouchi area. Participants who collect all three stamps will receive a LEGO® brick kit to assemble the hat of the popular character 'Chopper' from the Netflix live-action 'ONE PIECE' Season 2.
