Saga Prefectural Karatsu Higashi High School, operating under a junior-senior high school integrated system, has set its educational goal as 'cultivating global talent with a spirit of challenge' and actively promotes student-centered learning through ICT integration.

At the same time, as the importance of English speaking skills grows in university entrance exams and international contexts, traditional classroom settings face time and environmental constraints in providing sufficient speaking opportunities for each student and enabling teachers to conduct individualized pronunciation and speaking assessments.

To address these challenges, the school conducted a pilot implementation of 'AIed English' during the third term of the 2025 academic year. After confirming positive outcomes—including increased student speaking volume, improved motivation, and more efficient teacher assessment processes—the school has now decided on full-scale adoption.
