A Gastronomic Experience Plan Celebrating Shizuoka's 150th Anniversary

Kissho Caren, located on a hill overlooking Sagami Bay in the quiet coastal town of Hokkawa Onsen, Higashi-Izu, has released a special accommodation plan to commemorate Shizuoka Prefecture's 150th anniversary, available from June 1 to September 30.

Dinner features a French-style kaiseki meal with sea bream and spiny lobster. Guests will also be served a trio of sushi (horse mackerel, tuna, and bigfin reef squid) and one go (approx. 180ml) of the renowned 'Kaiun' sake from Doi Shuzo brewery. Additionally, a 'Yaizu dried bonito and Amagi fresh wasabi bowl' will be served, showcasing the rich flavors of the region. The dinner concludes with a blancmange made with Shizuoka melon and Izu guri tea.

Accommodation Plan Rates (including dinner and breakfast, tax included): From 30,500 yen per person (for double occupancy).

Guests can enjoy selected drinks at the 'Seasonal Terrace' before dinner or after a bath. The 'Hydrangea Terrace' will be held in June, and the 'Wind Chime Terrace' will be held from July to August.
