Huis Ten Bosch, a theme park resort in Nagasaki Prefecture that brands itself as 'A Dreamlike Other World,' has announced the launch of its first roller coaster since opening, set to debut in 2027 as the fourth major initiative in its growth strategy.

This new attraction is the largest investment project in the resort’s history, offering a never-before-seen experience as guests soar through breathtaking scenery while enjoying panoramic views of Huis Ten Bosch’s uniquely beautiful European-style streetscapes. With this new signature attraction, Huis Ten Bosch will accelerate its mission of delivering 'Excitement After Excitement!'

Under its new growth strategy, Huis Ten Bosch has been progressively introducing unique attractions since 2025, including 'Miffy Wonder Square'—the world’s only Miffy-themed area (※1), a scenic ride attraction (※2), and Japan’s first 8K ride attraction themed around the globally beloved 'Evangelion' (※3). This roller coaster marks the fourth phase of that strategy.

The third phase, 'Evangelion: The Ride - 8K -,' which opened in April 2026, saw a 130% increase in visitors during its first month compared to the same period the previous year (※4). Amid the ongoing 'affordable, nearby, short-trip' trend during this year’s Golden Week, it significantly contributed to overall attendance growth. (Excluding overseas)
