Hyundai Wins 2026 Red Dot Design Award for Employee ID Card Case

Hyundai Motor Company announced today that its new employee ID card case has won the 2026 Red Dot Design Award in the product design category.

The Red Dot Design Award is one of the world's three major design awards, evaluating excellence in product design, brand & communication design, and design concept.

This award recognizes Hyundai's commitment to user-centered design and technological innovation, extending beyond advanced mobility solutions to the daily experiences of its employees.

The new employee ID card case features a design that balances self-expression with enhanced functionality. It incorporates MagSafe (a magnetic attachment system) and a modular reel holder, designed for employees to carry it freely according to their style. The neck strap is easily detachable, allowing the ID case to be attached directly to the back of a MagSafe-compatible smartphone or combined with other accessories.

Available in white and clear blue, the case is slim yet highly durable. It also adopts a replaceable modular structure that reduces discomfort during wear, prevents damage, and minimizes the need for unnecessary part replacements. This innovative and practical design, bringing flexibility and convenience to daily business tools, has been recognized by both the Red Dot Design Award and the iF Design Award.
