Ichibanya Co., Ltd. will sell the limited-quantity 'Roasted Spice Chicken Curry' at CoCo Ichibanya curry houses nationwide starting Tuesday, June 2, 2026. On the same day, 'Chicken and Summer Vegetable Curry' and 'Shibikara Umajao' will also be sold in limited quantities. The curry sauce is based on six spices: coriander, cumin, mustard, turmeric, fenugreek, and chili pepper. These are carefully roasted to bring out their aroma, and roasted onions and chutney are added to provide richness and a subtle sweetness, resulting in a savory and deep curry sauce. The large, chunky chicken pieces are seasoned with black pepper and garlic, then roasted in a steam oven.
