We are a 'Sustainable Infrastructure Company' supporting people's enriched lifestyles.
Ichigo Potager Co., Ltd., an agricultural corporation under the Ichigo Group, aims to build systems that support sustainable agriculture and operates agricultural businesses in Miyazaki City. In its fruit farming operations, the company leverages Miyazaki’s warm climate and long hours of sunlight to cultivate rare crops with low domestic production rates, such as lychee, mango, banana, pepper, and cocoa.
We are pleased to announce that fresh lychees grown in Miyazaki City—fully ripened to a vibrant red under the region’s warm climate and abundant nature—are now registered as a return gift for the furusato nōzei (hometown tax) program. Pre-orders for these rare, domestically grown, tree-ripened fresh lychees are now open in limited quantities via Miyazaki City’s various furusato nōzei websites.
As a Sustainable Infrastructure Company, Ichigo aims to create new value in real estate and contribute to a richer future for Japan alongside communities and cities. In Miyazaki Prefecture, Ichigo promotes various initiatives as part of its 'Sustainable Infrastructure' to enhance regional sustainability, including the lifestyle-oriented shopping center 'Miyako City,' clean energy venture 'Ichigo ECO Energy,' J2 football club 'TEGARAMA Miyazaki,' agricultural business 'Ichigo Potager,' and local broadcasting station 'Miyazaki Sunshine FM.'
Since fully entering the agricultural sector, Ichigo Potager—the agricultural arm of the Ichigo Group—has expanded its activities in Miyazaki City, cultivating and directly selling rare domestic fruits such as strawberries, lychees, mangoes, and bananas, as well as domestic pepper. The company has also diversified into product development, café operations, and agritourism.
In production, the company combines summer-harvest and winter-harvest crops to establish a sustainable agricultural business model.
Now, the Miyazaki-grown lychees—nurtured by the abundant sunlight of the region and harvested in summer—are registered as a return gift for Miyazaki City’s furusato nōzei program. We invite you to enjoy the uniquely juicy texture and refreshing sweetness of fresh lychees.

Commitment to Organic Fertilizers
Ichigo Potager is dedicated to cultivating crops using original organic fertilizers made from local resources. For example, the company collects katsuobushi (bonito flakes) lees from soba restaurants and kombu (kelp) lees from sushi restaurants in Miyazaki City, repurposing them as organic fertilizers. Additionally, by utilizing underused resources such as fermented bamboo fertilizer and rice bran, the company contributes to regional resource circulation.
