Low-cost SIM Award 2025 Second Half Results Announced: Japan Communications SIM Ranks 1st in Overall Satisfaction

IID, Inc. (HQ: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hiroshi Miyagawa) has released the results of its satisfaction survey for low-cost SIM services, the 'Low-cost SIM Award 2025 Second Half.'

Regarding overall satisfaction, povo2.0 (KDDI) was awarded top honors among online-exclusive plans, with LINEMO (SoftBank) receiving an excellence award. For MVNOs, Japan Communications SIM maintained its leading position from the previous term, followed by IIJmio in the excellence category.

In the communication speed category, J:COM MOBILE (JCOM) continued to receive high evaluations this year.

[Award Details] Survey Period: April 30 - May 11, 2026 Participants: Current users of low-cost SIMs (including online plans/sub-brands) since December 2025 or earlier, aged 20-79. Respondents: 4,860 valid responses out of 17,469 total.
